Track 01
Sunrise Song
Happy and loud
I wrote this one on a Saturday morning when I woke up before everybody else. It is about the sun coming up over our street.
Hello! I’m L’Oréal,
I paint, draw, glue things together, and make up songs. This is where I keep all of it. Have a look around the gallery, listen to a song, and tell me which one you like best.
These are the pieces I would hang first. Every one of them started as a plain white page.

I wanted to see how many suns could fit on one page. The answer is six, but I am going to try seven.

I tore the paper instead of cutting it, because torn edges look like real water. The whale is only showing his tail.

My favorite thing I made this year. The middle of the flower is the lid of a jar, traced and cut out.
Now, turn the sound on
I make up the words and the tune, then sing them into my tablet. Here they are, waiting for you.

Track 02
Quiet and floaty
This one is slow on purpose. I sing it mostly to myself when I am drawing.

Short clips I make with my family: me painting, me singing, and a look at the table where all of it happens.
I always start my sun with one big yellow circle — just one shape — and then the rays come after. If I mess up I don't start over, I just paint right over it, because paint is really good at hiding secrets.
I made up all the words myself and then I made up the tune to go with them, and I sing the whole thing into my tablet before I forget it. Sometimes the song changes a little every time I sing it.
This is my art table, which is a big mess on purpose because I almost always have three paintings going at the same time. If it was clean I would only be doing one thing, and that is boring.

About me
I am eleven. I like bright colors, big shapes and making a mess that turns into something. Everyone says I never stop, and they are right.
